About Us
We Are Homefield
Homefield Church of England Primary School was founded in 1962. The school is set in the ever-growing village of Bradwell, in Great Yarmouth. We are a smaller than average primary school and we currently have one class per year group with approximately 246 children on roll. We pride ourselves on being at the heart of the Bradwell Community and we enjoy working in partnership with our local church 'St Nicolas Church,'
We are a fully inclusive school, we welcome children in the September following their fourth birthday and they transfer to High School in the September following their eleventh birthday. We also have our own school nursery on site, which has an intake every term where children can join us at the beginning of the term following their third birthday.
Although our grounds are not the largest, we like to think that we have made good use of our space. There is a playground, a playing field, a memorial garden and storytelling area, an outdoor learning space for all ages and a woodland-learning environment. The school itself has eight classrooms, a hall, children’s kitchen and library.
As a Church school our Christian and British values are paramount and are reflected in the ethos of the school. Our core value of 'Respect' and our supporting values of Thankfulness, Compassion, Friendship, Trust and Forgiveness, form the themes for our collective worship and inform and underpin all policy and practice within the school.
